Always fascinated by curling but never tried it out? Now's your chance!
Take the first step into curling with Aksarben Curling at Baxter Arena in Omaha! All ages and abilities can give curling a try.
We offer three types of events:
- Try Curling (shorter 75-minute session)
- Learn to Curl (two-hour session with additional instruction and gameplay)
- Instructional League (four-week learn to curl and mini-league with coaches)
Our public events have concluded for the 2026-2026 season. Stay tuned for events starting in the fall of 2026!
Our Learn to Curls are great team building activities for families, kids, and coworkers. You'll learn the basics of the game and practice basic skills. The rest of the time you'll get to play a partial match.
We provide the instruction and equipment – you just need to come ready to have a whole lot of fun!
Every curler out there, even the 2018 Olympic gold medal winning Team Shuster and the 2026 Olympic silver medal winning Team Dropkin/Thiesse, had to start somewhere. While we can’t promise you an Olympic medal, we can promise you a good time!
